There are times when residential roof repair is the best choice, such as minor leaks. If the underlying structure is weakened, too many shingles are missing, or damage is extensive (such as a fallen tree), replacement usually saves you money in the end. When a roof reaches the end of its life, it’s probably worth having it replaced instead of repaired.
